Ian was an amazing Instructor, he was very calm and collected during our lessons. Taught me how to handle the car and all the manoeuvres in a very organised and effective way. Before and after every lesson he would talk to me about my progress and what things I had to improve on which I think was very helpful in being able to pass my test. He greatly advised me on when was the right time to take my test; taking into consideration my time frame and how confident I personally felt taking the test. This helped me pass my driving test on the first go. As well as giving me skills to pass my driving test he gave me much help to become a good and especially a safe driver. He is very organised and reliable, his arrival time for our lessons were always perfect to the minute and he gave helpful reminder texts before our lessons. I can’t thank him enough for teaching be so well this summer. Would highly recommend.

What can I say about the experience I had with The Ministry of Driving? Due to work pressures I had five days to learn how to operate a car and Ian made sure I went from having never sat behind the wheel of a car to being fully safe on the road in a matter of hours.
Ian is an extremely experienced instructor and it shows. I passed my test within five days of starting and I don’t think there are many others out there who could do that.
I highly recommend Ian Beard as your instructor.

He will encourage you all the time and you’ll gain your needed confidence for the test. Firstly, apologies it’s taken so long for me to write a review but around 6 months ago I passed my driving test with just 4 minors after being taught by Ian Beard and I can honestly say that I couldn’t of been happier with his services and training, not only a top class driving instructor but also a calm and collective gentleman.

All instructions and help towards passing my test were taught and presented in a calm and professional manor, he was also very punctual and always on time.
I would highly recommend him to anyone who’s looking to pass their driving test with confidence, not matter what level of driving you’re at!
